Request a NanoBase™ Sample
NanoBase™ does not have a free sample program. What we call a sample is a genuine working quantity of the architecture, either 500 ml or 1 liter, supplied for a fee so you can evaluate it the way a real raw material deserves to be evaluated, at your own bench, in your own formula, against whatever you use today. Because it is manufactured material and not a marketing giveaway, requesting one starts with an account. Sample requests open once that account is approved and active.
What a sample is
A sample is either a 500 ml or a 1 liter quantity of the NanoBase™ architecture, the same tri-domain material that ships in commercial orders, not a scaled-down or simplified version made for evaluation purposes. There is a cost attached to it, consistent with supplying a manufactured raw material at a working volume. We do not list that figure here, and it is addressed once your account is active. The entire architecture is formulated to align with the Clean at Sephora standard, so that question is already settled by the time your sample arrives.
Why access starts with an account
We ask you to apply for an account before you can request a sample, rather than list one for instant purchase. NanoBase™ is a professional cosmetic raw material, not a consumer product, and the review exists so the people evaluating it are the formulators, brands, and contract manufacturers who will actually build with it. Applying is a short qualification step, not a sale. Once we approve your application and you activate the account, sample requests open and you can order the quantity that fits your evaluation.

What evaluators do with it
Pensive Beauty manufactures the NanoBase™ architecture. We do not manufacture your product, and a sample does not change that division of labor. What it gives you is the material itself, so you can build a finished formula on top of it at your own bench, using the same gentle, room-temperature mixing you would use with any liquid raw material, no special nano equipment required on your side. From there, the real test is a direct one: run your build against whatever emulsification system or delivery base you use today, and judge the result on your own bench, not on our description of it.

The documentation package
A sample entitles you to request the documentation package that goes with it. That package is four documents:
- A Technical Data Sheet (TDS), covering the architecture’s specifications and handling.
- A Certificate of Analysis (COA), specific to the lot you receive.
- A Safety Data Sheet (SDS), for your own regulatory and handling files.
- A representative DLS particle-size characterization, the one assay Pensive Beauty runs in house on every batch.

Lead times
Typical lead times for a sample run 3 to 4 weeks from an approved, active account to material in your hands. Build that into your evaluation calendar, particularly if you are testing against a launch date of your own.
